Haha, Everyone I know who has Cox@home is down and has been down for the
past two days.
Cox@work is up according to my one client who has it. We had no trouble
with her email yesterday.
Calling Cox gets you 20 minutes of waiting after fighting through repeated
busy signals, only to be told they have no idea why it's down and no idea
when it will be up.
I have visited 5 clients over the last two days that have cox and are all
unable to get or send email. I hav also received calls from 3 others. I
can send and receive only because I have an alternate method, but no cox
mail has found it's way to me. I can only hope it is not lost forever.
I have been waiting for my editor to give me a go-ahead on a new project and
will have to call tomorrow as there's no way of knowing if she has sent me
something.
Personally, I sent out a message to everyone in my box telling them of my
trouble and asking them to send to cindyfox@azcts.com instead of
cindyfox@home.com but there's never any guarentee.
It's like losing the key to your post office box and hoping the mail
employees don't throw away your mail after the box fills up, and knowing
there are no regulations where emails are concerned but that people depend
on it almost as much as or more than regular mail.
Any info on the cause?
