According to COX, there mail server crashed.  You would think a company of
this size would have redundant mail servers.  Maybe it was the virus that
got them, but in any event, I was able to complain enough that they gave me
a free month of COX service - TV cable and all.  I have had COX for over a
year and it is fast for me, runs 3.25 to 4 megabits/sec on download.
However, the way they handle customer service sucks.  Guess I will put up
with that for the speed.
