Hi Stu,

Here's probably the easiest way, I think.

In IE go to the Tools menu > Internet Options > select the "Programs" tab
and at the bottom of the options click the checkbox "Internet Explorer
should check to see whether it is the default browser".

That will prompt you next time you open up the browser - and you can then
set it as default in response. This should reset things nicely.
