I would recommend that you don't use anything like the Impress site! Their
splash page is meaningless and gives no clue on how to move into the site.
It is also very difficult to read.
Take a look at www.lookandfeel.com. Everything that happens in their intro,
happens for a purpose. The user is both entertained and educated on how to
navigate through the site. And the intro can be cut off at any time by
clicking any of the links to the sites various areas.
BTW, thanks for starting up this topic. You've saved me some time. I was
researching Flash sites also. ;)
