IIS examines the business and technology value of Microsoft's .NET 
platform from more than just a sales and marketing point of 
view. .NET is a major shift in technical direction for Microsoft. It 
makes traditional business applications easier to develop and deploy. 
The .NET Framework opens up architectural options that have never 
existed before. Mixed language programming teams become far more 
feasible than before. IIS will provide you with an overview of the 
key components of .NET – namely its Tools, Servers, XML Web services, 
Clients, and .NET experiences. We'll demonstrate how .NET serves as 
Microsoft's platform for XML Web services; AND how XML Web services 
allow applications to communicate and share data over the Internet, 
regardless of operating system or programming language. Who should
